Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

• Your email address and a hash of your password.
• Your project content — scripts, prompts, uploaded images and footage, and the media Filmwright generates for you.
• Credit balances and billing records.

We never see or store your payment card details — those go directly to Stripe.

2. How we use it

We use this information to run the service: generating your films, processing payments, and sending transactional email like password resets (via Resend). We don't use your data for anything beyond operating and improving Filmwright.

3. Third parties we share data with

Running Filmwright means sending some of your data to the services that power it:

• Stripe — payment processing and billing.
• Resend — sending transactional email (password resets and account notifications).
• OpenAI, Google, and models hosted on Replicate — your prompts, scripts, and uploaded assets are sent to these providers to generate scripts, voices, images, and video.
• Railway — hosting infrastructure for the app and your data.
• Gizmo Analytics— privacy-friendly, cookieless site analytics. Gizmo doesn't use cookies, doesn't track you across sites, hashes and discards IP addresses on ingest, and collects no personal information.

We don't sell your personal data, and we don't use ad-tracking on Filmwright.

4. Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in. We don't use tracking or advertising cookies.

5. Data retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you'd like your data deleted, email us and we'll delete it.

6. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time by emailing devmpk@gmail.com.

7. Children

Filmwright is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

8. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you directly.
